The San Francisco World Spirits Competition recognizes the exceptional spirits that are near the pinnacle of achievement; these products set the standard for their categories. Judges utilize a highly controlled blind tasting process and each product is evaluated on an individual basis — not compared to other entries in the flight. During this stage, judges determine which entries are worthy of a medal: Gold, Silver or Bronze.

Both Awards were judged by the finest experts in the 2020 edition of the NY International Spirits Competition. The result is a “bright, fresh and exquisite mezcal” as the media rated our mezcal. Share our pride and joy.

L.A. Spirits Awards employs a blind tasting system ensures that judges focus on the quality of each entry, uninfluenced by information that might invoke favoritism or prejudices. Judges are permitted the time they need to assess their assigned entries with care, and they are limited in their tasting quotas to guard against palate fatigue.

The Tequila Mezcal Challenge is conducted double-blind by a seasoned panel of beverage professionals. Our judging panel consists of sommeliers, retail buyers, journalists, mixologists, and beverage directors. All judges undergo a calibration class designed to maintain consistent evaluation and scoring of all spirits.
