The inspiration for Vamonos Riendo lies in the artesanal spirit of the Oaxacan creative community of artists, chefs, designers and distillers and their commitment to excellence in creating works of art.
He was born in Mexico City in 1961. He studied archeology at the National School of Anthropology and History. Archeology leads him to have a strong connection with the earth, with the clay, and he finds in ceramics a way of expressing his knowledge and concerns, becoming a sculptor-ceramist for thirty-seven years.
Although Ivonne Kennedy was a Tamayo Art Workshop student in Oaxaca, her artistic training has been mainly self-taught and based on constant exploration on oil painting, acrylic, drawing, graphic art and creation with clay and ceramic art techniques.
